Is It Easy To Get Around
on the NYC Subway?

Question:

Dear Native New Yorker,

I'm going to tell you right now I get lost all the time driving around Charlotte, and I was born there and I can't do a thing with a map. Is it easy to get around on the NYC Subway? Me and my friends are coming for vacation and we can't afford cabs or tour buses. What do you think?

Nell -- Charlotte, NC

Answer:

I personally believe that the easiest, and yes the least expensive way to get around New York City is by Subway. Its much faster then traveling above ground and at $2.75 a ride, its a bargain considering that you can travel for miles and get free transfers between subway lines without paying another fare.
